The service 1. ife of the old screw barrels after bimetallic reparation can be 3-5 times the service life of ordinary ni tridated screws.

The bimetallic barrel is produced by casting a special alloy protective layer on the inner face of the barrel which is made of ordinary metallic material with a certain mechanical strength.
This protective layer is evenly distributed on the parent material and is locked with it in the matellic phase to form a strong integral whole.

The bimetallic screw is produced by adding a special alloy protective layer on the tooth crest of the screw edges or on the whole working face of the screw. The friction coefficient between the screw barrel' s alloy layer is very low which reduces the abrasion in production to the minimum.

The bimetallic screws produced by our company are sprayed and welded on their edges with special alloy powder. We can use different alloys and spray-welding methods for different screws.

The service life of the bimatallic screw barrels is much longer than nitrided screw barrels. Bimetallic screw barrels are especially good at processing engineering plastics, fluorine plastics, PP0 etc.
